“Michaela Skovranova est une artiste bas\u00e9e en Australie qui travaille dans le domaine de la photographie et du cin\u00e9ma. Son travail s’est concentr\u00e9 sur la capture d’histoires environnementales et humaines intimes – qu’il s’agisse de documenter les r\u00e9cifs coralliens et la restauration de la Grande Barri\u00e8re de Corail pour National Geographic, The Great Australian Bight pour Greenpeace ou les cons\u00e9quences des feux de brousse australiens pour le TIME Magazine. Elle a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 la toute premi\u00e8re vid\u00e9o Facebook en direct sous l’eau en Australie lors de la Journ\u00e9e mondiale de l’oc\u00e9an 2018, dans le cadre de la campagne ‘Planet or Plastic’ de National Geographic, ax\u00e9e sur l’impact du plastique sur l’\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me marin. Ses courts m\u00e9trages reprennent la narration naturelle, \u00e9clair\u00e9e par l’ambiance, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les images s’arr\u00eatent. Son dernier court m\u00e9trage, “”End of the World””, traite des effets d\u00e9vastateurs du changement climatique en Antarctique et a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 en avant-premi\u00e8re au TEDx Sydney 2020. Elle a particip\u00e9 au documentaire de National Geographic “”Protecting Paradise”” (2019), \u00e0 la campagne mondiale “”Uncover Antarctica”” (2020) et \u00e0 la nouvelle s\u00e9rie originale de CuriosityStream “”Nature Through Her Eyes”” (2021). Michaela est aussi une ambassadrice du syst\u00e8me OM. Elle anime r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des ateliers de photographie et de vid\u00e9o en Australie et \u00e0 l’\u00e9tranger.
