The fantastic bestiary motifs in the heritage and architecture of Perpignan (Visit in English)
A guided tour through the historic centre of Perpignan in search of architectural and heritage details that show animal figures. During the two major periods of urban development in Perpignan, in the Middle Ages, and then in the 20th century with Art Nouveau, the bestiary used in architecture bears witness to the human and social history of these periods. This tour will be conducted in English and take participants through the city to comment on these bestiary motifs.
